I recently had a family getaway at a charming property about 11 km from the Stadium of Light, and it was quite the mix of ups and downs. The location couldn't have been better, with easy access to shops, bars, and the beach. The room was nicely decorated, and having a fridge was a bonus for keeping snacks for the kids. I did encounter some issues. The mattress felt like a waterbed, which made for a wobbly night's sleep. There were a few cleanliness hiccups; we found some hair clips on the floor and noticed the shower tiles could use a good scrubbing. Despite these quirks, the owners were very welcoming and accommodating. The ironing board, hairdryer, and free parking made it family-friendly overall. Just a note—everything seems to close by 11 PM, so prepare your late-night cravings accordingly. In the end, while there were some cleaning oversights, my family and I had a decent stay and would consider returning for the convenient location and friendly atmosphere.
